As you have
probably noticed, I haven't updated in about 2 months. Oops.
Sorry. Yeah, really. I got wrapped up in a lot of other things
that are very non-comic related. I can even talk about them here,
just for the fun of it. They absolutely do *not* make up for the
fact that I haven't updated, but it sure explains a whole lot.
First off, I was
doing not one, but TWO costumes for the convention season. Not only
mine (as Kiyone), but also Alana's
who was dressing as Mihoshi. Ooh, fun stuff, considering I *really*
can't sew worth a crap. If you want to see the completed product,

Second off... I've
found myself intrigued by the wonderful world of Tenchi
Muyo fanfiction. It's scary, it's even pretty darn bad in some
cases, but for some reason I found myself writing a story
or two.
The first one I did actually got a REALLY
good review. Being a first time fic writer, I suddenly feel special.
That feeling goes away after a while, once they stop writing you.
Oh well. I guess I'm just lucky.
Sadly, at the beginning
of July I was saddened by the news that my favorite band, 12
Volt Sex, has decided to part their separate ways and persue other
individual careers. This is a very sad thing. If you haven't
already noticed, I tend to wear a lot of strange Teeshirts (I guess that's
my thing for the COMic), and 12 Volt has been featured in three now.
They rule *soooooo* much. It's upsetting it had to end like this.
Curse you RCA for not having the balls to just release the damned album.
They have music on their site AND you can order a teeshirt-cd
combo still, while supplies last. They're really worth the $20.
I suggest you do so. Now! ^_^;
Of this last month,
I have only been home one weekend since. First weekend I went to
Anime
Expo, then the second weekend I saw the last show of the RENT
Benny Tour in San Francisco (EXCELLENT show, btw), and then finally on
the third weekend it was San Diego Comic
Con with the whole Cats On Mars crew (and then some). It was
a fantastic few weeks, and Tommy nagging me enough to finally get cracking
on the next batch of comics. Well, here's a start. Hope I can
keep this up. If all else fails, there's always sexy
