Fuckin' Contacts!/Submission Guidelines
The Basic Guidelines to Submitting to FuKu:
1. No racist comments.
We're targeting otaku of indeterminate race.
What makes them otaku is their behavior. (We are attacking an ideology here,
people (otakudom), not their source (the Japanese people) or the particular
ethnicity of those who carry it out to extreme lengths (be they caucasian or
otherwise -- though a big fat white guy stuttering "sore wa himitsu desu"
in the worst accent possible is still pretty funny)). Simply put, we're
equal-opportunity haters. :P
2. Make sure your submissions are in story
form and wouldn't make your English/composition teachers freak out.
Get someone to proofread your submission, or
use SpellCheck! Your submission should also read like it's a story you're
telling to the general public; don't specifically address it to the FuKu staff.
3. Cover all bases---including your ass.
Anonymize your story---to a degree. Some people
probably don't want their name there, or their store's name, so it may be better
to give them fake names. (We also don't want lawsuits.) Go ahead and use stupid
otaku fake names, like their online personae, if you want.
4. Give us all the gory (but unique)
details.
Be as detailed as possible in your submissions.
We can only have so many accounts of "Oh my god, I sat next to a smelly and
fat fanboy today!" until it sounds repetitive.
5. Make it funny!
If you can't laugh at what you hate--or what
you like, for that matter--then you've got issues.
Now, the means by
which to contact administrators and contributors of the site, etc. ^^; The
rather mundane links will take you where you need to be, if you're interested...
So, for those of you asking "What's THIS
all about, and who do I bitch to?"...
To submit a story, anecdote, article, graphic,
or concept, please send mail here. (Or
to Chiriko. Cheeky monkey.)
Contact Chiriko
for any general comments, etc. If you have commentary on a specific article you
should check and see who wrote the article and send to the author link under the
title.

is responsible for the awesome webdesign and delicious functionality of the
site.
Other Cats on Mars' information is available at
the WHO page.
Finally, you might want to try the Cats
on Mars/Fuku Forums to talk to people involved with the site or just shoot
the shit. ^^
All submissions may be reused on the site
without permission. Don't send stuff if you don't want it put on the site, and
don't expect every piece of shit you send us to be put on the site, either. ;)
